Welcome! My name is Thalia Duran and I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for 20 years. I have been given the amazing opportunity to be the Director here at Loving Savior Preschool. I have the best job in the world because I get to be part of, what I believe to be, one of the most important developmental stages of a child’s life. Seeing the excitement of a child when they can do something for the first time like building a tower, writing the first letter in their name or being able to ride a tricycle all by themselves is simply put, priceless. I enjoy working with the staff at Loving Savior where we will continue to strive for excellence by providing a safe, caring, nurturing environment, where we embrace diversity, as we continue to build a foundation where Jesus Christ is the center of all life’s accomplishments.
“All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace.”
– Isaiah 54:13

Teddy Bear Class
Hello I am Miss Lucy and am currently matriculated in the Child Development program at Mt. San Antonio College. My Godson Eddie, and nieces, Celeste and Estella, have been my motivation in pursuing this career. I love working with children. I enjoy seeing them grow and develop spiritually, cognitively, physically, and emotionally. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a child's transformation-- from the first day in school, to later walking into the classroom with a smile. I am blessed with that opportunity here, teaching our youngest children in the Teddy Bear class, at Loving Savior.
Hello, my name is Loida Iraheta. I joined the staff at Loving Savior in 2015, but prior to that, I worked in the Early Childhood field for over 10 years. Young children need to be loved and nurtured as we help guide them on what is often their first school experience. By teaching them positive social skills as young children, they will grow up to be caring and committed citizens as adults. I also want to plant a love for the Lord in the hearts of my students so they may experience His love and grace in their lives. I have been married for 28 years. My husband and I are the proud parents of our 25-year-old daughter who is living in Florida.
My name is Miss Melissa, and I am thrilled to join the team at Loving Savior Preschool working alongside Mrs. Lucy and Mrs. Loida in the Teddy Bear Class! I have always had a passion for working with kids, which is why I’m currently studying Early Childhood Development at Mt. Sac to become a preschool teacher. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your little ones!
