Special Events and Activities

BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT

This event is a chance to meet the preschool staff. Each teacher will talk about the classroom rules and activities and fill you in on special events. We strongly advise parents to attend. This is a parent information night. Children are not allowed to attend Back- to-School Night and will not be allowed in the classrooms and may not be left unattended on the playground while parents are in the classroom. Preschool closes at 5:30 p.m. on this night. This allows staff to prepare for the evening.

THANKSGIVING FEAST

This celebration of God’s provision is a time for coming together as a community to give thanks. Every classroom will have a feast; and the teachers will have a sign-up sheet for items to bring.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Children ages 4-5 participate in the celebration of Jesus’ birth through music and the magical innocence reflected in the beauty of each child.

PRESCHOOL SINGS

This is a special occasion at Loving Savior where each classroom will sing in chapel throughout the school year. Parents and family members are welcome to attend.

CHRISTIAN CHARACTER AWARDS CHAPEL

This is a special occasion at Loving Savior where each child will be recognized for demonstrating a Christian character trait such as joy, love, kindness, honesty, etc. Parents and family members are welcome to attend.

OPEN HOUSE/CLASSROOM WALK THRU

Enjoy this opportunity to view the classrooms with your child. They are very proud of their room and love to show it off to family.

GRADUATION

Children in Transitional Kindergarten, who will be entering Kindergarten the following fall, will participate in a special graduation ceremony. Cap and gowns are required for students. Children may be dismissed after the service. (Please note that any outstanding fees must be paid in full in order for your child to participate in graduation or any end of the year activities.)
